I'll comment mostly on the self portrait because you've been making more progress on that than the still life. From what I can see of your outlining, the still life looks like it'll be interesting and I'm curious to see what you'll do with the toned paper. But I also see a lot of negative space, and it seems like the objects are centrally placed, so I'm not sure if this is something that will fix itself when you fill in the piece or not. Your self portrait is looking really good! The jacket and sleeve are amazing; I love all the wrinkles on the jacket. I want to see more of your face, though! I can't wait to see how it looks once your eyes are in there. I think you could give the hair some more contrast; add darker shadows (as dark as the ones in the jacket) and some shiny highlights. My one question is, what will you put in the background?
gonna be hard to comment on the still life, but hoping you use the paper to your advantage! (loving the bananas)
once the background's on there it'll look perfect. YOUR EYES, FENDI!!! dont think too much about it just do itttt!!!! it looks a lot like you in this still life. doing good so far :D
oh my goodness Fendi!!! You're portrait is turning out wonderfully. The lines and shading are really nice! Just do the eyes and it'll be awesome! And I wish you luck on your still life! Keep up the good work!
I love it Fendi. The still life is not yet complete so I don’t know what to say exactly but here I go. I don’t really know what medium you want to do it in but i think charcoal could be aesthetically pleasing. There is a bit of empty space and I think you could fix that with maybe fabric or something creepy or sad or whatever. I don’t know what your message is but the background really depends on what you are trying to convey. The other thing is that it seems rather centralized. You could cut the paper or something like that if you want to fix the centerness. That isn’t a word but I wanted to use it so I did. But this seems like you know what want so all i really need to say is good job.
Fendi, the self-portrait looks amazing and I'm sure the still life will be great as well. All of the tones and shading in the self-portrait look perfect and super realistic so great job on that. I can see all the effort you've put into it since the last critique and it has definitely paid off. Keep up the good work! Just keep in mind the background - I think you said it was going to be a soccer field so maybe try and connect it to you somehow. The still life looks good from what I can see of it. Good job!
fendi, you are too adroable. your still life(so far) is killer! it looks awesome. your ability to make thing so realistic is flabbergasting. nice job(: the self portrait is so good and i can tell you have worked hard on it.
I like the shading on ur self-portrait and good job on arranging the still life one! If you work on the shadows to make it look 3D, I think it will look awesome.

回覆刪除As for the portrait, I'm guessing you'll be adding in a background, and other than that it looks awesome!
